Let the worry be a cue to demonstrate love but don't dwell on their problems, dwell on how thankful you are for them (and even that let go of) - Understanding it - What are words to desribe the illness? - Are there alternative descriptors that fit? - (ex. a cold vs rhinosinitus vs symptom list - stuffed nose, labored breathing, etc vs COVID vs immune response ) - If you had to guess what caused it? - How does body temperature change it? - Is their pain near by? - How would you describe the pain? - How often? - When is it better? - When is it at its worst? - What makes it better? - What makes it worse? - What paneceas likely impact it? - How does your breath impact it - - How much does stress impact it? - How is your health other wise? - Is there anything good about it? - Could you use it as a cue for gratitude or something else positive? - - What does progress look like? - What does it getting worse look like? - Misc - How well is it understood by the medical community? - Detective work - If you improved your overall health (muscle mass, breathing, digestion, sleep, hydration) do you think it would improve? - What foods make it better? - What mental practices make it better - Does it scare you? - Do you think the people around you are understanding? - Could this be a side effect from any medication / medicinal? - Will focusing on this illness make your life quality worse? - What would be an appropriate way to schedule time to deal with this illness without letting it take up too much of your life? -
