# You can keep secrets
There are wholesome secrets.
Let that moment between you and the squirrel be something just the two of experienced. Let that orange be undescribed. Share a moment with a person on the bus and never tell anyone.
There isn't a single thing that demands description. Know that you can relax, none of this requires you [[take notes]], there will not be a quiz. Your experiences need not be parsed through [[narrative]].
You can just [[smile]], there is no need to pretend that any of this is less of a mystery. [[do not explain this away as ordinary]].
I'm not advocating [[lying]]. I think [[openness]] is usually liberating but putting things into words does regularly seem to take away from them. [[Dreams]] recede quicker as you grasp to describe them and this waking dream is one I hope stays close. [[Words will never be enough]] so why pretend they come close?
What you share is all a [[it is a matter of focus|matter of focus]] anyways. With 50,000 [[thoughts]] a day and even more things experienced, you won't be sharing about even a fraction of them. You may as well [[play]] with [[purposeful]] secret keeping.
