# Meditation

## Questions

## Benefits
Meditation helps [[ways to relax|relax]] and [[heal]] the body after [[exercise]].
Meditation is one [[practice]] to pursue [[mindfulness]]. It is a pro-longed look inward.
Remember that there is only [[life]]. [[Mindfulness]] is not something that only happens in [[meditation]], but I do find life is better then I do it #Time/Everyday. It is a great compliment to [[exercise]] and basically everything.
## Just do it
There have to be things like grounding yourself that make you more likely to meditate....
Small step - breath, just start. [[stillness]]
## Make it - obvious, attractive, easy, satisfying

- Practive just doing it.
- 10 breaths

- 1 minute timer
- List 2 or 3 prompts. Do one of them
- Put on a super short guided meditation
- Put on a song and follow along

## Stretch goals

## Being guided by "experts" feels like it is missing something

- I enjoy long session but tend not to do them unless I am with others.
