I have a unique set of experiences with homelessness.
I actually think the word homeless is often [[inaccurate words|inaccurate]].
In 2022, I made a new friend named Mark who lived beside the library in a tent with his dog Mabel. Mark was my neighbor. The city evicted him. He's still my neighbor but I haven't found him yet.
I want everyone to have shelter where they feel safe. This is something accomplishable. I think it's important to understand that tents can be homes. If the city won't make better housing possible it shouldn't make feeling at home harder.

Home is where your heart is, and I know not having a roof can be hard, but I don't ever want you to feel like you don't have a home.
