#Closed I got my [[vasectomy]] resversed on [[2022-07-26]]. The process required [[General anesthesia]]. The standard reversal was used and sperm were found in the vas defrens. Hoping it helps with [[fertility]] and [[pain]]. Dr. Grober did it at the Cumberland Clinic. He was great in person. His assistant was not great over email. Not sure if it was successful. - Pre surgery - I ate healthy and tried to get a lot of sleep - Day 1 - 2 celebrex 6-8 tylenol (day of surgery) - Day 2- no tylenol, 1 celebrex - Day 3 - shower and bandage comes off - Day 15 - Sexy time - Day 16 - Sexy time and a tiny bit of time on [[Hagrid - bike]] - Next up - semen analysis⏳ 2022-09-26 - There are sperm and motility is high - ~6months later, haven't noticed any testicular pain for a long while - ## Questions and answers Q. Can I sleep on side? A. Google says maybe but seems like best is not. Q. What does take it easy mean? Weight? Heart rate? Stretching? A. Didn't get a solid answer. I've been puttering around house/garden in Day 1 and Day 2 and seem fine. I'm likely being too cautious but that is because I was not cautious at all for my [[vasectomy]] Q. Any downsides to taking tylenol or the anti-inflammatories? A. Not sure. Q. explain how it heals... What bodily processes help and hurt A. Seems like tubes are sutchered together. I didn't really get a sense of what helps. Tugging hurts which is why movement should be kept to minimum. Q. How close do I put ice? Snuggly against? Loosely leaning against? A. DIdn't get an answer. Went with loosely leaning agianst. Q. The testicles are less loose then usual, a product of swelling? Just curious. Don't need an answer Q. How to keep testicles tight as swelling goes down? ## Cautions It is easy to forget [[ice]] is applied. Doctor said 15min every hour. [[Constipation]] A very odd time to be diving into a digital garden. ## Post-op "doctor said" - "walking is okay" "but not 15minutes downntown" - [[ice]] - "Take the pill", "take the pill", "take the pill", "don't take the pill" A good reminder commuicate and to [[advocate for yourself]]
