## My use of symbols in documents - ++ = there is more than could/should be said - ~ = Something like this, but better worded - ~”words” = a quote like this but not actually this - ? or preceding text = I’m uncertain if this should be included / I’m uncertain about the premise stated - ??? = I’m very uncertain - (> not relevant at the moment (>>>> not relevant for a long long long while) - ! proceeding a line = important - !!!= the more exclamations the more important - [text] = stand in text - %## - how certain I feel about a comment - <> Warrants a discussion sometime soon - Multiple symbols usually just denotes more of the above sentiments. - A combination of symbols denotes a combination of the above sentiments
