# Lost work The feeling of losing work is, or can be, [[frustrating]]. It can result in doubt that gives you pause. Redoing work that was lost can feel frustrating too. I have felt this many times. Lost you work? Maybe back up your work? Or be okay with what ever happens? Maybe both? Trust in god, but tie your horse. ## Misc on lost work - You could feel like your first version was so much better than your new version. That you lost something you will never get back. Q2 2021. - I lost days of notes on Obsidian due to a Sync error a couple times in August of 2022 - I temporarily lost my whole linux drive in Q3 due to a software glitch with the encryption - I've lost whole hard drives of work - I've lost whole wordpress installations to some tricky malware - I lost gardens when I moved - I lost relationships when I neglected them - So many video games - Made soup and then dropped it on the ground, glass shattering - Jenga - Etch-e-sketch
