# Napping
Napping could be a good cue. Setting a few timers before the nap to do mundane stuff like tidy seems to work well.
## When to nap?

- aim for ~7 hours after waking
- If you've been in that too sleepy state, I'd suggest against it.
## What to do when you are napping too much
- Meditate more
- Remember that [[energy is made]].
- Use timers
- Try to do it at specific times. (no earlier than 6 hours after waking)
## Should you ever feel bad about napping?
- No!
- If your state of mind is like "i feel like I need to nap but I shouldn't because then I'd be lazy", you aren't getting anything good done in that time anyways, may as well refresh and not dillydally

## How to nap when excited?
- definitely relaxing music
- cool yourself down
- be okay not napping
- breath
## Observations
- There are times when I am active when I don't seem to need a nap, example [[Puerto Vallarta]], this could also be due to the sun or physical activity.
